I really think there should be some kind of app that allows you to input each plant (and position etc if known)

And it should have a Callander that tells you what to do each week in really simple terms. Maybe suggestions of other things you could do to keep your garden healthy.

An app for people (like me) who are vaguely interested in gardening but has lots of other crap going on so that gardening efforts tend to happen in massive spurts every 12 weeks

Is there something like this already?

I know what you mean!!

The problem is that every year is different because of the bloody temperamental weather. So it's not even that 'early spring' is different in the south west to the north west. It's that some years May can be warm, and others really cold and this affects what you do and when. (Like this year, spring went on until late June in a lot of places!!)

However, that said, there are broad timetables that you can follow that give a rough kind of idea. Are you doing veg or flower gardening??

I also think your insight that little and often works way better than big and less frequent. It took me ages when I started gardening to realise that!

Hope you enjoyed the Wine!!
