Can anyone identify these plants?

My garden is heavy clay with some mature, random planting by previous owners. I quite like these two flowering plants which keep coming back each year but can't identify them. Can anyone help?
First has small light green round leaves, with small yellow flowers (no pic of flowers) about May. Creeps along the ground.
Second has filled my front lawn with tall stemed, orange flowers throughout summer.
These seem to be the only things to survive the heavy clay and the slugs. Sigh.

I have them both in perfusion! Creeping jenny also looks good trailing from a hanging basket

Fox and cubs is a lovely thing, but I seriously recommend chopping off the flowers when they are done before seed sets. If your garden is anything like mine, it self-seeds with abandon, to the point that it is a problem. Keeping it in a patch proved too difficult for me - I've been on an eradication mission for the last couple of years!

Fox and cubs has taken over the front lawn somewhat but that means I dont have to cut it. Grin
