I have a bare strip in front of the house and would like something pretty, just one plant type, 6-8 inches high, perennial, nothing that is going to go too mad. Could be a bulb I suppose? I could widen the strip a bit.

In a little walled bit next to the front door - photos are of the opposite side to give you an idea of what is there already. South facing, would be quite exposed if it wasn't for the wall.

Agapanthus and crocosmia look amazing together

I had both of those together in my old house (recently moved) but it was a fluke!! How many would I need do you think?

I could buy 12 here and use the white somewhere else.

What about colour for more months than that would provide for?

My Dad gave me 60 red geranium cuttings today, do you think I could use any of those there or not?

Am going to go with agapanthus - is Parkers a good place to buy from?

Recommendations for other bulbs would be lovely too - something to extend the colour.

Any ideas on what I should do with 60 geraniums?

I think Parkers are fine. Maybe also plant Japanese anemones for flowers in the autumn.
Geraniums are my rufty tufty plants and survive anything. I like lots of them in large pots and window boxes for instant colour

Japanese anemonies in a border personally I'd choose the white flower variety
