suggestions for a substitute for wax flower (Chamelaucium)

I like how it looks and would like to grow something similar for July/ August this year, along with other cottage garden plants.

Any suggestions?

I didn't know wax flower before, and as it is Australian, many of the web sites for it are also Oz.

These are a few things we like:

Aquilegias are easy from seed, but over the years they 'revert' and all end up blue/purple.

You can grow fuchsias from cuttings, and control their size from little bush to tall standards.

Delphiniums are nice, but slugs love them too.

Hard geraniums (cranesbill) come in many shades, shapes and sizes.
