Eustis limequat, anyone?

I was given one for Christmas and it looked lovely - glossy foliage, little fruit - bent onto a circular frame. It's now dropped all its fruit and the leaves are falling off too. I've been moving it from room to room but have yet to find anywhere where it looks happy. I do tend to treat houseplants as disposable but this was so pretty I'd prefer to keep it alive.

Does anyone have one of these and know the secret to its happiness? The information I can find online seems mainly to come from much warmer places, where it can be grown outdoors.

I'd never heard of it, but this could help:

Yeah, that's one of the things I'd read. All but the first couple of sentences of the care instructions are about outdoor growing. I was hoping to find someone who had the knack of keeping one happy in a house here.
