Help me please!

Bamboo planted by previous owners, hacked down when a new shed was put in but not dug out.

It is now shooting up everywhere including under my patio. I hate it.

It is following me as I had it at my last house where I covered it with glysophate and tarpaulin to block out the light and it still came back.

Will killing off the main bit stop it shooting?

You should definitely try to kill off the main plant if the shoots are coming up through your patio.

I use SPK brushwood weedkiller - I cut the new shoot back to a low section of caulm and pour as much as I can into the hollow tube. You could even try drilling through the bottom of the section into the next one in order to get more weedkiller in there.

I've just been tackling some horrific new shoots for a client who planted them against my express advice . These shoots were two inches across and twelve foot high Shock

Thank you so much. Think I am going to get the brushwood killer and try and dig the 'mother ship' out too.

I'm so cross with myself. I should have tackled it as soon as we moved in at Christmas but I was heavily pregnant, other jobs took priority and I buried my head about it.

Arghhhh. Hate the stuff.
