we live by the sea [http://www.vebra.com/rushwittwilson/property/24112796 in the left hand house]. i want to make a boat garden on the middle bit of the terraced bit. what sort of things could i plant in it on a nautical theme ?

Take a look on the RHS website for ideas and you can also use their plant selector and select various themes.

We're doing something similar on a South facing exposed area of our garden
