I use glyphosate to kill things but it works best when plants are growing and it's absorbed by leaves so if you've chopped things down might not work very well. You might have done enough but it depends on what kind of weeds they were!?
There are weed+feed products for grass but i haven't got much experience of them as i like my grass weak and stunted.
I think, not sure, most weed killers would kill the turf too - Are you intending to put turf down immediately?

Roundup Tree Stump Killer.

Also can be/and is used for thick brambles, climbing weeds and any other weeds.

IME: Brilliant!

Think about it. If it's strong enough to kill off a tree stump, will it have a problem tackalling the smaller weeds?

Be patient though, it takes a few days to really get into the roots, but when it does....!
