a question about watering window sillveg seeds?

really how to? iv just planted lots to dot round the house but realised my huge watering can will shower my house aswell have tried to use a smallm jug but i think i may have washed them about is this a problem will they still grow? would normally be doing it in the liitel greenhouse but with the cold snap approaching i thought it best to keep them inside
