Installing a slide on a garden bank

We have just (almost) finished an extension on the back of our house. In order to access the garden we now have some steps which the children need help to get down. A friend had the great idea of putting a slide down the side of the steps (we have a bank there), and could work really well. Has anyone done this? If so where did you get slide from, how did you install it etc?
