have a garden wall full of wine, no fruits at all this year.I heard it needs trimming back aggressively to get any chance of grapes next year.when is best? and how much should I remove.it's quite old at the base, stem is about 15cm in diameter at the base. so far I only cut back whenever it tried to climb up the house wall.
