Would this work as an online shop?

Hi all,

am desperately thinking of ideas to go back to work and work from home at the same time. I was thinking of creating an online shop selling good quality German toys, made of wood etc.

I know that the toy market is huge but if it was called something like 'The German Toy Shop' or similar, would you be tempted to have a look or would you run a mile?

Thanks for your feedback

Hi, I've got a friend who set up a baby shop online last year (www.hellobabydirect.com).

It took him a long time to get going and is a vast amount of work (to store/catalogue/ship/label etc all the goods). It is also very important to get the right url and do lots of SEO as it is such a competitive business! The site is really good though and he has lots of repeat custom as well as linking it with an ebay shop.

I think German toys are the best, especially wooden ones. Another thing you could do is become a German toy wholesale site to some of the UK ones. That way you could research the best of the toys and get good prices and then sell them into UK/webshops.
