Pregnant Production Freelancer

Since having my first baby I've managed to take on a few freelance production roles although most of what's come up has been totally unsuitable - ie working abroad for 2 months at a time which I'm just not prepared to do. Anyway, after quite a big employment gap - the market also seems to have been particularly quiet - I've finally been offered a few weeks work on something I really want to do. The problem is that I'm now 8 weeks pregnant with baby number 2 and feeling absolutely hideous. I had forgotten how bad my first trimester was first time round because I felt amazing in trimester 2 and 3 and could do anything. I was working up until I was about 37 weeks. However right now I feel sick all the time and have no energy whatsoever. How am I going to do this job? and should I tell them I'm pregnant? I've never worked for this company before and so want to make a good impression. I am just worried I will mess things up because I'm feeling so ill. It is next week and last time round I carried on feeling worse and worse until I was 14 weeks in. Any advice would be much appreciated.

At 8 weeks you don't have to tell them but you can if you like. It's only for a few weeks. Don't worry too much, DH works in television and had a pregnant editor recently and everybody was fine about her and nice to her.

Thanks dtlw, I know I don't have to tell them but I'm more worried about the fact that they might think I'm a bit rubbish if they don't know why I'm feeling so lousy. However as I haven't even told my closest friends yet I am a bit reluctant, especially as I'm only there for such a short time.

Bet you come across as less poorly than you feel. I would paint on a brave face personally and ride out the few weeks if you haven't even told friends yet.
