What is the business? Have you written a business plan? Do you need any additional money or or you ready to start now?

how exciting for you!

look for free courses in your area via business link to get you started

it's not so hard, God created accountants for tax returns and all that sort of thing

I would think you need to sit down and work out a few headings with strategies and budgets such as marketing; stock; branding. Even if you don't need more money you may need a business acount and business overdraft particularlay if you need to buy stock. So I would speak to a bank.

If you need advice re: protecting your brand or logo speak to David Fry of Agile IP ( my hubby) google him if needed.

Good luck

Definitely recommend a business start up course. They are usually free and well worth attending and help you get an idea off the ground. The Inland Revenue also do free courses on self assessment etc.

firstly - you need to work out in your head - what your business will be - what are you selling, who are your customers, what's your competition, what makes you different, how are you going to reach your customers, what price will you sell at.

This is the basis of your business plan. Its good to try and get it down on paper as it helps you to decide what you are doing - and you gradually add to it and put more detail in. It should be a 'living' document that you keep adding to.

then talk, talk and talk some more - with friends that have their own business, with other people you meet, with randoms on internet forums(!), and gradually you will find that you are doing it! Def. check out business link - to guide you in the technicality/legal bits - thats what they exist for...
