How do I track down my old foster carer?

I was fostered in 2006 by a lovely family in South Ockendon in Essex. I've since tryed to get in contact with them, but the company they used to foster with no longer holds records for them and I've done all the social media searches and found nothing. My old local authority won't help me as I've over 25, so I'm feeling I'm out of options. Has anyone got any ideas as to how I might find them? Her BS would be 14/15 and her BD 17/18 now. I know her name but I don't want to put it up here for obvious reasons. If you think you might know the family then please let me know and I'll pass on my details.

Have you tried searching on FB for the kids? At those ages they probably have accounts.

I have and I found a girl who might have been her daughter but got no response.

They've moved so no luck there. I've found the dad and asked him to pass on my number as they've now split up
