Just follow Annabel Karmel's recipe for creamy seafood. Yummy.

Or ..... steam!

Depends on size of the pieces of salmon, but I usually check after 5 mins as salmon cooks surprisingly quickly that way.

or here.....

1/2 pint milk
3 peppercorns
bay leaf
1oz butter
small onion, chopped
2 tbsp flour
1oz frozen peas

Put salmon in shallow pan with milk, peppercorns and herbs. Bring to boil, cover and simmer for 5 mins or until fish cooked and flakes easily. Remove fish with slotted spoon. Strain milk and reserve. Warm butter in a small pan. Add the onion and saute until just softened. Stir in the flour and cook for 1 min. Gradually add the strained milk, stirring until sauce thickened. Add fish, peas and prawns. Heat through. You can stir in grated cheese 1oz and season to taste.

Yummy yummy yum!

Thanks ladies for the fab suggestions but after asking DH he wants to go with marslady's suggestion....

Means I get to cook up extra for me for when he is away, cos that is normally when I go with the kiddies leftovers thro sheer exhaustion!!!
