Not the normal beef stew

Was in Waitrose today and I think they discount stickers were wrong, so got a load of cubed beef steak for a total bargain price.

So apart from the usual beef stew (beef, carrots, onion, celery with herbs, beef stock and a dash of tomato pate), any ideas for alternatives for this cubed beef steak.

Beef tagine. No need for a tagine pot if you've got a cast iron or equivalent one that'll go in the oven.
Use ras el hanout (waitrose sell it) then I add a tin of toms, a little stock, dates, apricots, Handful of olives, carrots, onions; chickpeas and peppers at the end, but you can basically use what you like - comes out really good.

Chilli con carne is amazing with chunks of meat rather than mince...add a bit of dark chocolate for something a bit different

i made the Catalan Beef that SImon Mayo's chef guy was banging on about on the radio the other day as dh fancied it.

I used chorizo for the sausage, dh and ds2 really liked it! I'd sooner have a gorgeous Beef in Beer tbh, but it was fine enough.

Rick Stein used to do a Beef curry thing....sort of korma ish, but I cannot remember what that was called.

And HFW uses shin of beef for a lovely chilli, ginger and soy type effort, and that is really tasty with noodles, and would work with cubed beef, just need a bit less cooking than shin

Lots of great ideas here, thanks.
Going to go for goulash to start with.

I would slow cook the beef in water op and then when it is tender, add coconut mill and Thai curry paste.

Or make a beef stronganoff

Or cook until tender in pepper sauce

dust in flour and fry off, slow cook for ever in beef stock, last hour add crushed peppercorns, and right at the end mushrooms and crème freche,

Beef rendang, it's a Malaysian curry, using coconut milk and lemongrass. Utterly delicious. Plenty of recipes online.
