How do you cook your kedgeree?

I've seen recipes with peas, bacon, prawns, curry-all sorts .

I usually do eggs, poached smoked fish, boiled rice with curry powder in the water, sautéed onions. Season.

I do mine like yours - sometimes with raisins in but not often

I make 2 versions, dh and I have a cauli rice version , dcs have standard.

Fry onions till brown, add curry powder, garlic and ginger. Add chopped smoked chopped haddock, then frozen peas, divide the mixture into two pans - add boiled rice to one, cauli rice to the other. Heat through add freshly chopped coriander and serve with boiled eggs.
