Vegetarian dish making pies

Hi,

We're moving house this weekend and once we are in and settled I have dreams of hosting a dinner party for my friends where I will make homemade chicken pie, steak and ale pie, chips, mash and veg.

Only issue for me is that one of my friends is a veggie, so what can I make for her to accompany my winter feast?

Ooooo. I used to make a lovely butternut squash lasagna when I had guests as I could make it day before and just do final cooking on the day. I was veg, guests usually weren't but I got loads of requests for the recipe.. Surprised most people...

Ooh veg pie thread I like the idea of cauli cheese in a pie.

I'd avoid stodgy fillings like lentils, beans and root veg. It can be a bit much with pastry as well, especially if you are serving chips and mash with it.

There is nothing I love more than cheese and onion pie! Particularly Lancashire cheese and red onion!
Anything else would be a disappointment!!
