Pop tarts!

Please don't judge! After a recent trip to the USA my kids tried pop tarts and loved them. I've said I'll get some here as a treat but didn't realise how expensive they were. £2.69 for 8. That's a lot of money for a breakfast item!
So my question is does anyone know if lidl or aldi sell them or a similar alternative? Or do other supermarkets do an alternative? I couldn't see any in tescos.

Try B+M or Home Bargains if there's one near you. Also look them up on supermarket.com and see which supermarkets have them on special offer - I'm partial to the odd Poptart myself too but would never pay full price for them

I get my secret stash from B&M. The s'mores ones are amazing. I buy them as an occasional treat as DS once caught me eating a choc fudge one, tried a bit then we had breakfast rage for the next week when I wouldn't let him have them

We have them for birthdays and Christmas, I used to love (ok still do love) poptarts as does dh. Supermarkets do put them on offer every now and then, 2 boxes for £4 kinda thing, I wait till then and then buy a few. Also second looking in b&m, I've not really looked for poptarts there but I did find lucky charms for £3.50 a box (also occasional treat)

Farmfoods! They do 2 boxes for £3 or sometimes £1.25 for 1 box.

I got some in B&M thanks so much for the idea! They had about 6 different varieties and we're either 1.99 or 2.29 depending on flavour.
I'll try farm foods next as there's one close to me.
mumsnet is so good for this sort of thing - such a huge amount of knowledge ideas or advice!
