What are you having from the Chinese then?

Alright, it's a TAAT, sorry! But I'm stuck feeding the baby and I'm nosy.

So. Chinese takeaway. What are you having?

I would usually go for either chicken chow mein (crispy!) with veggie spring rolls, or beef in black bean sauce (and DH and I will go half/half on rice and chips).

Depends what I feel like, but at the moment would go for:
Dumplings
Crispy Shredded Chicken
Sweet & Sour Prawn Balls
Egg Fried Rice
Mushroom Chow Mein
And um...
Beef Green Peppers and Black Bean sauce

Chicken toast if they have it

I'm going through a Szechuan/Sichuan phase, so it's all hotpot and chicken fried with hundreds of chillies and peppercorns round here .

Chicken fried rice and General Gau's chicken, maybe some garlic noodles too.

Shredded chilli beef
Sweet 'n sour chicken balls

(and then spend a very uncomfortable night with an upset tum, 'cos Chinese does that to me nowadays, and I'm not happy about that)

Ok we've ordered. I've gone slightly different to my normal order.

I am having:

Spring rolls
Chicken with ginger & spring onion
Chips

DH is having:

Salt and pepper mushrooms
Veggie beef chow mein

I am hoping he'll share the mushrooms if I ask nicely!

We had exactly what I listed earlier.
Tried a different Chinese takeaway than usual (the closer one), and it was all surprisingly delicious!! Clearly homemade sauces, not the ready made ones from a tub like at our regular takeaway! Will definitely be going back there. Sat here now watching the documentary about the Queen, trying to convince my husband that my protruding belly is in fact our 10 week old foetus and not the mountain of chow mein I just ate
