Savoury muffin question!

When making savory muffins (with egg, veg etc) do you use paper liners, like when you make normal sweet muffins?

Or just put the mixture directly into the muffin tin? If so, don't they stick to the sides? Or do you grease the tin?

I rarely use cake cases when making savoury muffins, and haven't found it a problem at all.
I don't grease the muffin tins either, but they are good quality non-stick ones.
I think you need the best tins you can get to ensure the mixture doesn't adhere to the sides.

I only use cases if I'm making savoury muffins for other people.

I don't use cases either - I grease the tin really well (it's a non stick tin) or use a silicone one
If i'm using a normal tin then as soon as they come out i run a knife around the outside to loosen them from the sides
