you know those gingerbread cookies that you ice and use as decorations?

Well does anyone have a receipe for something similar but not ginger as my lo's are not keen.

Was hoping to do this as an after school activity.

Nigella Lawson did these on her programme that was on BBC2 - was on last night. See if it is repeated or look on the BBC website etc. HTH

Or you could make shapes of salt dough (there have been a few recipes posted recently) and decorate those - they are not edible though!

Or just biscuit dough without the ginger. our recipe is something like 4oz butter, 4oz sugar, 8oz flour, one egg.

bugger the balls, the kids wont have any teeth left!!! Dont do much for mine either. I create balls with icing in reds and greens just as nice and you can put the kids names on them too.

Could you honestly keep them on the tree?! Mine can't keep their mits off the non-edible baubles, never mind gingerbread!!
