DS aged 4 eats 2 weetabix with a banana mashed in every day, and has done since he turned 1. DD almost 2 eats a ikea kids bowl of porridge with a banana mashed in, or 1 weetabix with a banana mashed in. Sometimes at the weekend they'll have a slice of toast with butter or jam too. They also have a glass of pure orange.

My dd aged 4 is a gannet at breakfast time, she doesn't eat much for the rest of the day though.

She has some cereal, (rice crispies, frozen cereal, shreddies etc)
Some fruit (half a banana or some blueberries or strawberries) AND a crumpet or slice of toast! ??

She might substitute one of the above for a yoghurt (small petit filo us)
Probably too much ?.

Generally scrambled eggs and beans on toast.

Bacon and hash browns added to the above on a Saturday.

Ds is a pain with breakfast and won't eat cereals.

Saturday - croissant
Sunday - eggy bread or fry up
M - F - they get to choose between toast, bran flakes, weetabix, cornflakes or porridge. Currently DC1 seems to be in a rut of weetabix & DC2 toast.

Weekdays eldest (4.5) mainly eats weetabix or cornflakes with a banana or marmite or peanut butter on toast with some fruit. Youngest (10.5 months) porridge pancakes or mini shredded wheat and fruit. Weekends either scrambled eggs or blueberry pancakes and the occasional preschool holiday treat of a variety pack of cereal for the eldest

Dd makes porridge for her and DS, which they have with raisins/honey. They have a chopped up apple/grapes, a glass of milk or fruit juice, a bread product - toast, crumpet, muffin with cheese - and a yoghurt. They have huge breakfasts!! They are 11 and 8.

I have often wondered this, since cereal is shit in a box. DS2 has weetabix or ready brek sweetened with fruit because he's too young to complain , DS1 has porridge, jam on toast, weetabix (with sugar), those shredded wheat things with fruit in the middle sometimes all in the same morning . Heaven knows if that's a nutritionally acceptable breakfast.

My son (20 months) has:
Toast
Cereal
Scrambled eggs
Crumpets
Porridge generally with a banana. He also has a small glass of fruit juices sometimes.

Sometimes if he is not in the mood to eat breakfast, he will rather have fruit, smoothies, oat bars, yogurt, fruit purée etc and then he will something late morning.

Cereal and milk (low sugar version such as weetabix or shreaded wheat) toast and an actimel or yoghurt. Fruit if they are still hungry. Croissants and sometimes eggs on the weekend.

I think thats ok...I do have a friend who gives salmon and veg and absolutely no carbs as its better for brain development. I think thats trying a bit hard personally.

Usually cereal or porridge and then a piece of toast. Cereal is something boring lowish sugar like weetabix or own brand Shreddies. Or he's also fond of muesli with fruit and yoghurt. He went through a phase of liking an egg with soldiers but that was fairly short lived!

Cereal, fruit and a yogurt.
Sometimes toast, crumpets or toasted teacakes and cheese.
Bacon sandwiches or eggs if they feel like it. Water to drink, the older two, 7 & 8 are partial to a cup of tea too but not often.

Nothing during the week. He won't eat anything before school so have given up trying. He is 13 now and doesn't seem any the worse for it. At the weekend he has a bacon butty.

Girl child, 7 and a half, has a bowl of cereal/porridge or a couple of slices of toast. Sometimes more cereal, sometimes not. She stops when she's had enough, can have more if she wants, usually refuses it.

Toast
Frosted shreddies
Weetabix

Or the odd belvita bars if they are on offer.

He would eat raspberries & strawberries everyday for breakfast just to darn expensive though

I don't feed them breakfast, either dh does or they get it themselves and it's usually bread with butter and honey, or something like that. Every so often if there is no bread it will be pancakes, if I have baked the previous day it will sometimes be cake (healthyish loaf cakes).

Then when I come down and have my breakfast they will have the same as me for a second breakfast (fruit and yoghurt).

After that they will often have cookies for third breakfast!

DS is 4. He has a ham sandwich, cut up apple and a piece of babybel cheese every single day for breakfast. He also has ASD and we are working on food issues, so I am happy getting this down him and I don't worry about the repetition.
