Ooh I just came on here to ask this very question. My lot have mashed potato ishoos, so sadly no shepherds pie for us. Anyone got some good soup recipes?

Shepherds pie with carrot and swede mash on top? It's much tastier than potato.

We're having shepherd's pie with mash made from potato, celeriac, cauliflower and broccoli. Plus onion, celery, leek and carrot in the filling - I take the 7 a day advice seriously! Also makes the lamb last longer.

Hmm, I think it is the mash that is the issue. Crispy sliced potatoes might wok I suppose.

we've made a Jamie Oliver Moroccan Lamb Pastila recipe (think lamb spring roll) which went down well.

Tomorrow night the rest is going in a pie

I have just made lamb and mint pasties using left over lamb and veg. Still got loads of lamb left tho

Lamb pilaf is my kids' fave. Sadly there is rarely any leftover lamb! Google for a recipe : we like it with onions, shredded red pepper and lots of allspice
