It's winter - I'm cold - reaching for the biscuit tin an innocent Penguin bar has 106 calories and 5.9 gram of fat in it.

what is healthy but nice or lower in fat/sugar?

please don't say crudites and hummus. I don't mind this small Ryvita snacks, not mad on Pop Chips/Snack a Jacks.

I can make some things (think Flapjacks etc).

I already eat a balanced diet otherwise.

almonds or dried apricots or protein bars. Herbal life do nice ones that are like having little bars of chocolate (it's only HB thing I buy I don't buy into the other gumpf).

Oatcakes are nice, nuts are healthy but high in fat, I eat a lot of bananas. I get a graze box as well.

If I'm cold a milky strong coffee with skimmed milk does the trick.

Ellimam - I like oatcakes especially Nairns cheese ones.

I sadly don't like bananas.

Mum sadly a milky drink won't cut it by itself... I'm feeling very piggy!

Rice cake with a thin spread of chic spread or peanut butter?
Im not sure how it compares nutritionally but I think it's more filling

Maroonie - that's more my style....!

I do have some Marmite ones in my drawer. PB and marmite on toast is my weekend breakfast - I even get the low added or no added sugar PB!

Nairns now do snack packs of oatcakes, I think the flavours are ginger, mixed berries and - hurrah! - chocolate.
