Two good conversations with DS1 about food

We're planning a family birthday party for him and his brother.

I said, maybe we should have a roast chicken. DS1 said, "oh, mum, like you, I'm not really enjoying meat these days, can we have something else?" "Like what?" "You know what I'm going to say - Sausage pasta!" (No, not veggie sausages.)

Then today, I asked, what did he want to have with the sausage pasta. "Pasta and pesto" was his suggestion. Mmmmm. Two pasta dishes together. I think he might be English.
