I'm at a loss recently for inspiration I feel like we are constantly eating the same boring unhealthy stuff .

So I'm looking for dinners that are

Fairly healthy but that a 9yo will eat
2 must be quick to make
Fairly to make I'm no nigella GrinGrin

Anyone have anything exciting ? I'm so boring Blush

homemade pizza is easy to make. you can choose your own toppings or make individual ones if people have different tastes. lots of recipes for pizza base dough online. Make a batch at a time and freeze.

baked potatoes.

Homemade burgers ith pepper sauce and mash

Lunaballoon We have that every week too! One of my favourites!
I'm introducing at the moment the week night posh sandwich, its mostly cheap stuff, I buy some nice bread and I'll have mozzarella pesto and tomato and OH will have cooked chicken or bacon with lots of salad, sometimes we'll have steak and onion, depending how flush I'm feeling!
Also I usually do a veg soup or stew with crusty bread. OH doesn't like fish but if he did I would do this every week, its delicious!

I'm living and dying at the moment by a FB group; Bulk Cooking and Menu Planning

It seems to have loads of "mums" on it; people who have to cook day in and day out all looking for quick and tasty meals.

I've added a heap of excellent meals to my repertoire....

Will the 9 year old eat vege/salad?

We also do 'posh sarnie' night sometimes - crusty cobs, sausages, onions fried with mustard and balsamic vinegar, salad.

Yes to soup - we just had a lovely leek and potato one that was stupidly easy to make.

Omelettes, salad and homemade wedges.

Jacket potatoes - we usually have them with vegetarian sausage rolls, salad and coleslaw.

Pitta bread pizzas with salad.

Pittas, falafel (bought), tsatziki, salad, hoummus etc.

Sausage and mash and vege or (even easier) bought giant Yorkies, with sausages and a load of cooked frozen vege, gravy.
