Family favourite salad ideas

I am embarrassed to admit that my salad days seem a long time ago and I cannot instantly think of a good one. DD1 keeps coming back from friend's houses saying 'we had a delicious salad'. I always cook plenty of veg and we eat lots of raw veg sticks before most meals, but I rarely make actual salads. Any family favourite salad ideas?

One of our favourites is Caesar salad. We usually have it when we can't be bothered to cook. I shred a ready cooked chicken, mix it with romaine lettuce, Caesar dressing, some shavings of Parmesan cheese and if I can be bothered make a few French bread croutons to bung on top.

This ribbon salad goes down quite well too

Simple but tasty feta/mozzarella tomato and basil

(or just tomatoes, basil and a bit of balsamic vinegar is pretty good too)

And a couple of salady-ish meals

Spicy prawn salad

I ordered a mixed salad in Barcelona a few years back, which was just lettuce/ salad leaves, tuna, hard boiled eggs, onions, olive oil and lemon juice. It's been my favourite ever since and couldn't be much easier. Even better with some nice bread to go with it.
