Hi

Have just made Anabel Karmels beefburgers - DD ate 2 or 3 bits, Me and Dh will have them for tea tonight but i will freeze little ones for DD. My question is do i cook them and freeze them or just freeze them raw and cook once defrosted??

Very nice by the way

TIA

I freeze them raw (but make sure you haven't made from defrosted raw meat previously - ie. I'll buy the mince, make up the beefburgers THEN freeze).

If you're using the burger maker you can get from lakeland each burger is separated by wax disks which prevents them from freezing in one big lump too

you can put greaseproof paper in between them to keep them apart.

Good point about the mince GeorginaA I usually weave some greaseproof paper through mine to stop them sticking as I haven't got a burger maker - sounds v Gucci!

Savannah - use a baking tray to freeze them on separately in the freezer. Once they're frozen you can pop them all in one bag with no worries
