Easiyo yoghurt maker

My mother has kindly bought me an easiyo yoghurt maker, as we eat heaps of yoghurt, and she saw one cheap. I was wondering if anyone knew if it was possible to make your own flavours, as we love orange, and cherry. Also do you need to use their sachets? I thought if we do, of using the low fat Greek as a base and then adding orange juice, but I'm not really sure how much or what to do (I'm not much of a cook, I can follow recipes though).

Any suggestions on various flavours will be gratefully received, and eventually tried out!

Thank you

The sachets are ok but very sweet and a bit " gloopy".

We now make plain yoghurt with uht milk, a few tablespoons milk powder and a few tablespoons live yoghurt. Fill the outer layer with boiling water as per the instructions.

The squirty stuff is ok for flavour. I'd use a decent cherry jam though and stir a bit in. Orange- no idea, adding citrus juice to dairy sounds a curdling disaster and sour!

I bought the Easiyo a few years ago when they were 'new' on QVC.

It is sat in the cupboard now - as I find the sachets quite pricey.

So, I may try Theas idea.

Sorry, no suggestions for flavourings. I tend to prefer natural and serve with fruit.
