Is there any way to make healthy chicken supernoodles (same flavour, less gunk)?

Ds likes chicken supernoodles and I seem to have amassed a load of plain noodles Blush He's veg phobic so I won't be able to get away with mixing them with anything remotely green or veg like, but he will eat herbs (and fish). Is there any way I can make a similar 'chicken' flavour to add to the noodles, IYKWIM?

Thank you Smile

Chicken stock?

With a little finely chopped coriander to make the green flecks? I'll give it a try.

I've just been through my dry store. Come the zombie apocalypse, we'll be living off pasta and noodles for a year until it's over Blush

Thank you Smile

cook plain noodles in chicken oxo. You could add some fresh chicken and veg too - much nicer

Is chicken oxo more salty than the batchelors supernoodle sachet?

I'd add veg but he'll only eat a very little carrot, a few peas and cucumber. I could start off small and see what happens Grin He's now eating fish, which is progress. It's taken 13 years (he used to eat all sorts until he started nursery). Chicken would work Smile I could make chicken noodle soup too.

Which bit of the super noodles most bothers you?
Are you looking for an alternative to the overly processed white noodles or the MSG laden flavouring?

If the former- I would just put the flavour sachet in with some better quality noodles. Then perhaps some shredded chicken. Would he go for a bit of chopped spring onion as well?

Both, dashoflime, more the crap in the sachet. No onion of any sort, size, texture. He won't eat chicken soup or spag bol if it has tiny bits of onion in it, even if they don't taste of onion Confused No rice, as he doesn't like the taste, even if it's flavoured, no cous cous. ARGH!

Thank you, Ivy Smile He may go for it with no sweetcorn and a couple of peas. I can make that from my store cupboard too Thanks

I have to go to work Sad I'll be back later though.

I'm very grateful for your ideas, thank you! Cake

Sorry, posted too early. Would the AK recipe work without the veg maybe?

I could put a few veg on the side. A carrot stick and cucumber.

I make the Annabel karmel one posted above, but grate carrots and courgettes instead. Barely notice them!
