Aubergines...

Have used aubergines before occassionally but not generally something we use a lot of. However have recieved two aubergines in my veg box this week. However when I have cut into one of them there are lots of tiny little seeds throughout it. I have never noticed this before in the aubergines I have bought fromt he supermarket.

Is this normal? Are the little seeds okay to eat?

I've got a feeling they arrive when the aubergines are not completely fresh iyswim. No harm in them though!

It's okay. Googled and found something. The seeds are normal and edible.

Sorry - it's my crap way of putting things again! I don't mean they're on the verge of going off just that the ones in which I've noticed seeds have not been as 'new' as the ones I've noticed haven't - oh yes, HM, that's much clearer There's probably no correlation!!!
