I have two options....pigs knuckle and dumplings in prague. Or a curried salad I made from Good Food.

What is yours?

Felicity Cloake's perfect pulled pork with homemade bourbon barbecue sauce. Off to look for the curried salad recipe...

Tonkotsu, or the egg masala from Rick Stein's India

Crispbread spread with brebis cream cheese topped with a slice of home grown tomato (the one called ananas was the best) and a slice of home grown cucumber.

It was a close run thing between that and sourdough toast with quince jelly.

Chettinad chicken and chicken pasanda, with green chutney from Rick Steins India.

Plus some gorgeous Indian again that I didn't cook at Dishoom. The black dhal especially.

Smittenkitchen's mushroom bourgignon.
Actually that comes a close second to ridged kettle crisps (salt&vinegar flavour). Food of the gods!

Definitely doesn't disqualify you miffy. I've been eyeing up the mushroom bourgingnon recipe for a while,I must try it. (can't get ridged salt and vinegar crisps here unfortunately :( )

I don't think I'm a foodie exactly, but I love food, and this year I made a Vietnamese steak salad that was very memorable, but ottolenghis chicken and spiced freekah from Jerusalem has really left an impression and changed, or maybe influenced, the way I cook.

I can't get them where I am either, French. But they're top of my wish list when I go home or have visitors!
