Is there anything else I can do that you can recommend apart from pasta sauce and chutney?

Unripe tomatoes are better for chutney.

Try drying some out in a very low oven and preserving in olive oil with a few herbs or a bit of garlic for sundried
tomatoes.

sambal Just use lots more tomatoes. I roast instead of deepfry and the result is still nice.

I make tomato and lentil soup.

Chop an onion and fry, then add chopped tomatos and red lentils, fry for a few mins, add stock, tomato juice and a teaspoon of marmite, simmer for forty mins wish then whizz with a blender. We have it with grated cheese and nice bread smile

Hfw honey roasted cherry tomatoes? Lovely on toast

What are you going to make? Sainsburys has a sale on the Kilner (kilmer?) preserve jars and bottles, so you could make some very impressive prezzies!

I do vote for ketchup. Homemade is lovely and easy (but don't tell people that!). Only if you can bear the smell of boiling vinegar (it will melt your eyes!)

Food Qs for the day - do we need to boil the TB out of milk now?
Can you ear raw peas ouit of the shells? We used to as kids but I'm not so sure now!

Greek salad. I think tomatoes need to be oozing for the real effect.
