I'm thinking about investing in a burger press.....is it one of those gadgets I'm likely to use once or do you regularly use yours?

And, if you have a nice burger recipe....please share so I can try it out

oooh quick bump in case anyone does have a garlic and chilli burger recipe grin

If I were trying it I would chop around 2 cloves of garlic for 4 burgers, half an onion and fry off til translucent. Then chop up a couple of green chillis (strength to taste) and mix it all with mince and maybe a quarter teaspoon of chilli powder.

Mind you, I've made that up on the spot so it could be disgusting!

Yes I do, mainly because I get to use wholemeal burger buns, no sauce etc as I have fussy kids. I sometimes add a grilled hash brown to make it more substantial:
