Spotty you're still bf (sorry remember you from the other thread) so eat away! -- still the excuse I'm giving myself after eating three toffee cupcakes--

I could probably eat thirteen to myself to be fair but definitely shouldn't wink stupid baby weight

Pah lightweight spotty - DH & I could eat 13 between us! I'm encrusting my goujons with polenta <smug>

I don't have the will power to freeze half. I want to eat them all blush although there is thirteen for the three if us....

My DH hates new potatoes.. but I love them because they are so easy. I halve them .. coat in a little oil and sprinkle dried rosemary, dried garlic before popping them on an oven tray.

Yes, of course. You can also make double and freeze them, so it's easy next time, provided chicken hasn't been previously frozen.

Better still, get the 2 yo to do it!. Easier if the crumbs are in a plastic big

Hi, yes I do them in advance, my children are older now so not so rushed at tea time myself.

One more thing that I do , when I do goujons I tend to use ruskolene myself but also works with breadcrumbs, I tend to make a double batch, one for tea that night and a lot for the freezer, the freezer lot gives me an easy all ready prepared meal for some time in the future. Both ruskolene and breadcrumbs are fine in the freezer. Take them out to defrost and heat them up.

Yes you can.

It probably better as the crumb will have time to stick and not fall off when cooking.

Ok thanks I will do then, will make dinner extra easy then! Need to use up new potatoes (which dp always moans are boring hmm) any excellent ideas for them?! End of the week so pretty low on supplies.....

Should be fine. Funnily enough I'm also cooking goujons for tea smile

Having chicken goujons for dinner but that time of day is always fraught with a tired two year old and grumpy baby smile So can I crumb my goujons now and stick them in the fridge or will the crumbs go funny? confused

Using dried breadcrumbs if that makes a difference.
