Just occurred to me - would this work with gram flour instead? Got some I could do with using up...

IsaacCox,Does the flour help keep them nice and crispy? I find that sometimes they have a tendency to be a bit soggy!
Peel, cut into chips and smother them in a bit of oil. Then make a spice mix with whatever you have in ie. paprika, chilli powder etc then some flour. Coat the chips in the flour mix. Then cook.I did this with normal potatoes (soooo good!) It'd be gorgeous with sweet pots
Does anyone have any good hints or tips to make them? Going off a very basic internet recipe to cook them later. I am so excited to make them for tea later
