Sweet Potato Chips

Does anyone have any good hints or tips to make them? Going off a very basic internet recipe to cook them later. I am so excited to make them for tea later

Peel, cut into chips and smother them in a bit of oil. Then make a spice mix with whatever you have in ie. paprika, chilli powder etc then some flour. Coat the chips in the flour mix. Then cook.

I did this with normal potatoes (soooo good!) It'd be gorgeous with sweet pots :)

Does the flour help keep them nice and crispy? I find that sometimes they have a tendency to be a bit soggy!

Just occurred to me - would this work with gram flour instead? Got some I could do with using up...
