DH has been given a couple of pheasants and I've never cooked with it before. Any tips/great recipes?
Pheassant =pie to me with home made ruffpuff pastry. One of the favours meal in our house.
I cooked one on new years day and it was lovely. I used my slow cooker and the meat just fell off the bone but you could just casserole it for a long time if you don't have a slow cooker.Recipe had fried onions and bacon (which i've since been told is a good combination with pheasant), white wine, garlic and herbs. Possibly chicken stock too.
