Please humour me. After dinner tonight, both DC (10) said they were so hungry they could eat another meal.
I couldn't help thinking through what they'd had that day and can't believe they meant it.
They'd just eaten: baked potato with butter and cheese, half a large tin of baked beans each, sweet corn, carrot sticks and cucumber.
Also that day, they'd had:
cheese toasties on wholemeal bread, glass of OJ and mug of steamed milk for breakfast
2 slices wholemeal bread and butter, a roast chicken thigh, apple juice, carrot sticks, yoghurt and crisps at lunch and two white chocolate cookies after school.
Gave them cereal and toast with peanut butter because they were so hungry.
