Can I use thyme instead of oregano? I don't have marjoram either. It's for chicken.

Thank you.

Thyme with chicken was in a Nigella recipe I did from watching TV. Went nicely together.

It's with chorizo and roasted veg?

Thyme w chicken definitely ok. Thyme w chorizo a bit odd IMO. I'd just leave it out.

Jamaican recipes often use thyme with chilli or paprika. Given that's the flavour of chorizo, why not?

Ooh. Mine has paprika too. Maybe I will then and tell the family it's Jamaican. Xmas Grin

yeah I would use thyme with that - as someone said jamaican recipes usually combine thyme with chili (including paprika).

We've eaten. It was great except the potatoes were under cooked.

I don't know how because they were new potatoes, quartered and in the oven for an hour. They were still hard. Does anyone have any ideas why this might be? Everything was added to one pot at different stages. Confused
