Hi, I'm doing this recipe for the first time (Gammon i slow cooker as we speak Grin) and was wondering what you serve with it?

I was going to do roast dinner trimmings (roast tatties, stuffing ect) but to be honest none of us really fancy all that tonight.

I'm going to pop to asda in a bit so ideas would be most welcome. Tia Smile

I would do it with a potato salad made with just-boiled spuds, heaps of mayo and spring onion.

Hungry now!

I often do braised red cabbage and wedges

These all sound so nice! I think I'm going to make a potato salad and a seasonal salad to use up the last of the salad dressing in the fridge. A bit of a summer dinner to try and blot out all the wintery weather. Xmas Grin

I will be making this tomorrow for first time. Quick question - does the coke become the gravy and exactly how do you cook it in the slow cooker?

Tia Xmas Grin
