Can you defrost, cook and then re-freeze?

I am making bolognese sauce with defrosted mince (frozen on day of purchase). It will inevitably be too much to be consumed in one sitting, so can I freeze half for next week? Or will I kill them all??? :o

You're cooking with defrosted raw mince and you want to freeze the end product? I do that all the time and we're not dead. So long as when you eat the frozen bolognese you make sure it's really thoroughly heated you'll be fine.

if you freeze raw meat, defrost it and cook it, you can then freeze the cooked meat safely.

Yeah, I think that would be fine too, as long as the mice was well cooked/heated afer each freeze.
