Good morning everybody

Planning on doing a mass cook and freeze so that I dont have to cook next week!

Can you tell me whether the following will freeze ok:

a chicken curry made with spices, onion and coconut milk

a chilli con carne

a chicken casserole - made with loads of veg, gravy and a chassure (sp?!) sauce (packet! lol)

any advice welcome - cooking novice!

thankyou x

Isn't it only OK to freeze these as long as the meat hasn't already been frozen?

I think its fine to freeze these even if the meat (uncooked) was frozen before.

Obviously, once you unthaw individiual portions you can't then re-freeze them.

you can freeze cooked meat which was frozen when it was raw. I didn't know that until a kind soul here on MN told me that I could Grin

Too right, only been on here since Friday (not continously of course) & have learned loads of stuff already. Are we in danger of hi-jacking this thread? Wink
