Peanut Butter Chicken?

Cadeauxbury · 30/12/2005 11:22

I seem to recall a mumsnetter telling me something about cooking chicken as a stew tyoe thingy with peanut butter and some other bits.

Can anyone remember the recipe?

I want to try it tonight if possible as I have lots of casserole veg to use up and some chicken drumsticks.

'twas me Cadders who told you about peanut butter chicken.

Yes you can use drumsticks, but I also add a little chilli to give it that little bit extra.

I used tinned tomatoes.

It's really easy and very very lovely. In fact... I may cook it next week now that it's in my mind. Don't use too much water otherwise you'll end up with boiled chicken. You can blend the sauce at the end if you like.

just tell them that you can't quite work out why you are so tearful, but that you are sure God knows what he's doing.

That should quieten them down for you babe.

You could tell them that you've met me and it's shaken you to the very core lol!!!!!!!

absolutely!

The DTs go in at 12.45 and are out again at 3 so if we sort the date, I'll sort someone to either drop them off or pick them up.

Which day of the week is best for you?

Thursday 12th it is!

Now.... where shall we meet and what time are we aiming for?

Report
Cadeauxbury · 30/12/2005 12:13

Oh yes, it is the 12th isn't it!

Ok, will go for that. Shall we try and meet in Waterloo or Victoria? That would be easiest to get to for me and we could source some grub from there?

I can get to either easily. Victoria might be good cos iirc there are a lot of eateries there.

So why don't we say Victoria.

So date and place.... now for time

What time would suit you best?

Will almost certainly have ds with me. We come as a package these days!

Excellent! That way I'll be back in time to pick up the DTs and the others.

So let's say 11 for 11.30, that way you should have enough time to arrive. It'll be lovely to meet your DS (especially as you've met all of mine lol).

It's a done deal. 12th Jan, Victoria, 11am. In my diary now!

YAY! and you are in mine. Will text nearer the hour to arrange exactly where.

Shall we meet in the entrance where the black cabs are? Just inside though so as not to get too cold. The cabs might hold DS's attention should we miss each other. I'll have my mobi and you have the number.
