Nice mulled wine recipe? Eggnog recipe?

I'm planning my christmas day drinks and will make either of the above (or both, depending on how easy they are). Any nice, tried and tested recipes?

I usually use a Schwartz sachet of mulled wine spices & follow recipe on box - it's easy & fab.

Also have this recipe: serves 10-20 people.
4 bottles red wine, 1.5 litres lemonade, 3 cinammon sticks, 4 cloves, 500g demerara sugar, 2 lemons (sliced), 2 oranges (sliced), 1 glass dark rum, 1 glass stones ginger wine. All in pan & simmered for 20 mins.

Never tried egg nog!

You can make mulled wine much more ismply by just bunging a couple of cinnamon sticks and some cloves in a pan with the wine. No need for all the fruit/oj, sugar etc (warmed sangria!)

Just don't let it boil!

I use this one (more of the warmed sangria variety!! )

750ml red wine
600ml cranberry juice
300ml orange juice
1 wine spice sachet
1 cinnamon stick

1 orange
1 apple

I use 1 cinammon stick, orange stuck with cloves, sliced apple and orange and depending how it tastes, some honey/sugar.Heat very gently

I haven't had eggnog in years but remember drinking it when I was younger and loving it so would like to try it again.
