Did you freeze chicken twice? Cant say dd will definately get food poisoning or not,but i wouldnt refreeze stuff.I am a little paranoid from past serious stomach upsets. If a yoghurt is one day out of date it is straight in the bin!

If you froze it raw
Cooked it
and froze it cooked
You should be fine

Heat it all the way through (and I personally would let it defrost naturally rather than the microwave)

Should be OK as it wasn't refrozen raw, I think after it's cooked it's OK to freeze again.

I doubt it. The reason not to refreeze thawed food is that if it gets contaminated or starts going off you then reheat it with the contamination. As people don't always reheat through enough, that sort of food could make you ill. But if it was fresh when you froze it, then when it had defrosted you cooked it through completely and refroze it asap afterwards, then it shoud be fine for her. Especially if you reheat it to piping hot.

Although be aware that it's not enough just to reheat to piping hot. The heat will kill any bacteria, but if food has become contaminated or gone off before freezing, then the toxins that the bacteria create remain in the food, and may be unaffected by heating. That's why it's important that the food is cooled quickly after cooking - not to mention frozen as fresh as possible..

it's ok to freeze it raw, defrost and cook it and then freeze the cooked dish which it sounds as though you did. It's not ok to freeze raw, defrost and then refreeze raw.
I don't know why!
I am ultra cautious with food and even I do that!

OK I'm not alone anyway!

no, you froze it raw (prevents bacteria multiplying), then cooked it (prevents bacteria multiplying),so reheating it again (as long as you get it really hot before giving it to her will be fine.
