Arrghh dd is is nearly 3 and as she has been allergic to egg for birthdays 1+2 I want to make her a stupendous one.
She adores the fimbles but am worried about designing it. is there any easy way, I can't do a photo one as I cannot buy a shop cake.
She loves Roly Mo best I guess...
Help I am so much an amateur here

i would make a big rectangle
then cut out the outline of roly mo (or even just his head)... then just ice with stripey icing and something for eyes and nose.

you could use some of the spare cake to make a sticky out nose if you wanted

Can you do a normal cake then get some small plastic Fimbles and use them as decorations on the top? You could do the stripy icing like starttingtobe... said.

can you use those edible ink pens and draw him onto plain white icing?

I would go for plain cake and ice pics on unless you are used to making cakes. You can get various types of ready made pipe on icing in bright colours in supermarket. Stick on ready made icing shapes too, not sure if I have seen fimbles in these.

they arent the same thing as icing pens btw if you want to do a search for them. they look like felt tips.
