Noooo....I didnt know that! What about Waitrose? I find tin toms fail in every way too. Spag bol is too watery if made with tins. I do alternate with passata - I'm sure that will be a good alternative for now.
bacon i went to hunt some down yesterday and waitrose dont sell any however asda do a passata rustica [which is chunky not smooth]and i have yet to try it
why can i buy dozens of jars of pasta sauce but no sugocasa? <sulks>

I've been trying to find it in Sheffield too - am devastated! Grandeitalia do it and I've emailed them to ask who stocks their products.
Apparently, if enough people ring Sainsburys and complain about something that has been discontinued, they may considered reintroducing - in certain stores, or may deliver on bulk (I used to buy 12 - 15 jars at a time as it was the only reason I went to Sainsburys) Call 0800 636262 and select 5 for the customer care line and ask the to restock it.

I make my own sugocasa and it's a piece of cake! The only downside is that it takes about half an hour and if you're in a hurry, half an hour on just the sauce isn't possible. My suggestion is to make it a bit in advance, when you've got a spare bit of time.
If you can pick up some cheapish vine tomatoes (I get mine for about 50p for 6. 12 would make plenty of sugocasa, so it's cheaper than sainsbury's)
Recipe:
5 Tablespoons of olive oil
500g Chopped Tomatoes
Salt and Pepper
Heat a good glug of olive oil in a pan until very hot (almost, but not quite smoking). You should be able to smell the oil as it's heating up. Carefully place the tomatoes into the oil (the oil will be hot and may spit so beware!). Cook on a high heat for about 2 minutes, then turn the heat down to low and very gently simmer for 20 minutes until the tomatoes are virtually mush. Add salt and pepper to taste and strain the mixture through a non-metallic sieve, binning the skins and seeds.
I'm always amazed by how tasty this sugocasa is, given how simple it is. It's much better than any shop bought sauce I've tasted and cheaper too!
